My kids loved our last Picasso craft, the Picasso's Playdough Faces, so we decided to make another Picasso craft. This time around, Christmas-inspired!

Easy setups are our favourite thing when it comes to crafts, so this Picasso tree craft comes with a ready-to-use printable that you can grab for free at the bottom of the post.

Who was Pablo Picasso?

Pablo Picasso is the artist we're taking our inspiration from in today's craft.

Picasso's artistic legacy is in a league of its own. He was born in Spain in 1881 but lived most of his adult life in France, and his name has become the go-to word when someone mentions anything about art!

He worked non-stop in his art for all 79 years of his career, and throughout his life, he went through different periods. Some of them are; the realist style, Post-Impressionism, his 'Blue' Period, 'Rose' period, CubismNeoclassicism, Surrealism, and the period in which he was inspired by African art.

With those facts in mind, let's get into this craft! (Check out our Picasso Snowman Craft too!)

Next colour the background in a contrasting and bright shade. We decided to combine two colours (orange and blue).
