How to make a 3D Christmas tree card
STEP 1: Print 3D Christmas tree template
Before you can begin this craft you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to download and print the 3D Christmas tree. Print it onto thick paper or thin card.
STEP 2: Colour tree template
The 3D Christmas tree template consists of 4 Christmas trees that are put together to make one 3D tree. You will need to colour all 4 trees using markers, crayons or paint. You can also add sequins and/or glitter. Write who the Christmas card is to/from.
There is also a blank Christmas tree template that you can use if you would like to design your own 3D Christmas tree.
STEP 3: Cut and glue Christmas tree template
Cut around the edge of all 4 Christmas tree patterns. Glue both sides of tree one together and both sides of tree two together. Then cut along the dotted lines.
STEP 4: Make 3D Christmas tree
Slot the trees together to make a 3D Christmas tree. That's it your 3D Christmas tree card is complete!
Make sure that the trees slot together so that the sides labelled ABCD line up (this will pair up the decorations correctly)
