This straw painting fall tree art is a lot of fun to create! We love trying out different painting ideas, and the process of blowing paint with straws is definitely a fun one! Using fall colors and our tree template, you can easily create your own beautiful fall tree art in no time.

We have previously used this blow-painting with straws technique to create a spring scene and for a blow-painting lung craft. This straw painting tree is a lot simpler, but just as much fun!
It would suit any age from toddlers upwards, although younger children may need help with holding the straw and being reminded to blow down the straw rather than suck through it.

Straw Painting Fall Tree Art
Supplies:
- Printable tree template
- Washable Paint (red, orange, yellow)
- Plastic Cups
- Droppers
- Straw
- Tray
Fall Tree Straw Painting Directions
STEP 1: Download and print out the tree template
Scroll down to get a copy of the tree template and print it out onto thick white paper or thin white cardstock. Alternatively, draw or paint your own tree shape using a brown marker.
STEP 2: Prepare your paint
Prepare your autumn colored paints by filling the plastic cups with equal parts washable paint and water. You may need to use more or less water depending on the consistency of the paint you are using. Place a dropper into each cup.
STEP 3: Blow paint onto the tree template
Now it is time for the fun part! Place your paper onto the activity tray to avoid too much mess, and then use the dropper to drop the first color of paint over the tree.
Using your straw, blow the blobs of paint over the tree.
Repeat for the next color paint.
Continue until you have used each color.
