Flower Fairy Craft (using real nature!)
Flower Fairy Nature Craft - Supplies:
- Our ready-to-print free fairy printable (grab it down below!)
- Glue
- Fresh flowers and/or greenery
- Scissors
- Coloured pencils, crayons or markers
Nature Flower Fairy Craft – Instructions:
STEP 1 - Print fairy colouring page
Let's begin making this dainty flower fairy! First, scroll down below to the bottom of this post and get your free fairy colouring page. Print it out and gather a selection of coloured pencils, crayons or markers in colours of your choice.
STEP 2 - Colour your fairy:
Before you start adding colour to your fairy craft you need to first decide which sections you want in colour and which you want to fill with flower petals.
Once you have decided use pencils, markers or crayons to colour in the chosen sections of your fairy. As an alternative, you could paint your fairy with watercolour paint.
STEP 3 - Pick your magical nature elements:
Now, let's take care of the flower petal section of our fairy!
Head outside and gather a collection of flowers or greenery (or both!). Try not to pick healthy flowers, instead find flowers and/or greenery that have fallen on the ground. Pull the flower petals from the flowers or chop them up into small pieces.
STEP 4 - Glue nature to your flower fairy craft:
Add glue to the parts of the printable you wish to cover with the petals or greenery.
If you wish to have different pieces of nature on different areas of your fairy add glue to one section at a time and then sprinkle the area with your chosen petals or greenery.
