To make things easier for children (and parents!), we've included a printable reindeer template for you. You just need to grab it from the bottom of this post, print it out and get on with the craft! Oh, don't worry, it's totally free! Grab it below.

There's something so magical and enchanting about Christmas, isn't there? And except for Santa himself, Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, is probably the most Christmassy-thing ever.

My little ones love this time of year and light up at the idea of making Christmas-themed crafts. Today we are sharing this eye-catching reindeer craft inspired by Andy Warhol artwork and the Pop Art style!

Pop Art Style

Bursting with vibrant and contrasting colors, the pop art movement is still making waves today.  The pop-art movement began in the 1950s and it peaked during the 60s and 70s, especially in America thanks to artists like Andy Warhol.

Known as 'the king of pop art', Warhol took the visual concept of pop art (simple, everyday objects and images from popular culture like cinema, magazines, advertisements and commercial brands) and created artwork images that are considered iconic in American culture. He used mass-production techniques like photographic silkscreen printing to produce the same image in repetition with different bold and flat colors.

We have created a few crafts inspired by Andy Warhol and the pop-art movement before; check out this colourful Andy Warhol Pop Art for Kids created from photographs , this fun Apple Stamping Pop Art or this simple Leaf Printing Pop Art for more pop-art fun!

We also have a printable pack of Pop Art for Kids available in the Messy Little Monster shop.

STEP 4: Finishing Touches.

Once you have finished coloring your Christmas pop art trim off the border of the template. If you want to make a greeting card from your reindeer pop art fold the paper in half before trimming the border.

For this cutie we decided to glue a small red nose and it looked adorable, so adding a few extra details is always a good idea!
