I think this craft is amazing. It's not just adorable (and super fun to make) but it also offers a great opportunity to teach little ones about sustainability and the importance of recycling things around the house. It's a fun and cute way to show them how to transform something (like a paper bag) and find different uses for it instead of throwing it away!
A win-win in my book ;)

Paper Bag Bee - Instructions:
STEP 1: Get the paper bag bee template
Before beginning your paper bag bee craft you will need to prepare your supplies and get the free bee template. Print the template onto white paper and and cut it out.
STEP 2: Start cutting your paper into shapes.
Cut pieces of yellow paper to the same size as your paper bag and then glue them onto the paper bag. Please, keep in mind to glue it on the side where the square bottom flaps up.
STEP 3: Make your bee's face.
Now it's time to create your bee's face! Trace the bee's face shape (from the template) onto the black paper and cut it out leaving a large black border around the edge. Glue it to the flap on your paper bag.
Trim off any excess black paper from the sides.
STEP 4: Add the bee's stripes
Now, cut a few strips from your black paper. Glue them on to the bee's yellow body.
STEP 5: Add the bee's antennas and the stinger.
Now, trace the antennas template onto the same black paper we used before and cut it out. Then, using glue attach it to the back of your paper bag.
Do the same with the stinger.
STEP 6: Give the bee wings and eyes
Trace the wing template onto white paper. Trace and cut out the eyes as well.
Now, glue the wings to the back of your paper bag and start adding the final touches by adding the eyes with a bit of glue to the bee's face.
Gently, trace a small oval-shaped pattern onto red paper, cut it out neatly, and place it with glue just below your bee's eyes.
STEP 8: Draw the final details
Add a mouth with a marker and...
Ta-da! Your bee paper bag craft is all done!
