These bees are so cute! Preschoolers, toddlers, and even older kiddos will love the entire artsy process, trust me! Especially the awesome part where they fold the paper and they squish the paint onto the other side.

It's such an easy way to have fun indoors and get the kids to be creative (not to mention it is a budget-friendly craft too!)

STEP 3: Painting time.

Fold a small piece of white paper in half. Paint horizontal stripes one half of the paper with yellow and black paint. (Check the image as a reference!)

STEP: Magic painting trick!

Now carefully fold the paper over and gently let the paint  squish onto the other side. This will create a cool symmetrical imprint, making the bee's body. Allow the fresh paint to dry entirely.

STEP 5: Trace and cut.

Once the paint has dried trace the body shape template onto your symmetry art and cut it out.

STEP 6: Putting everything together.

We're getting closer to the finish line! Now you just need to glue together all the pieces to make this cute bee craft. Gluing them onto a blue background works well.

Once you have glued all the pieces together complete your bee craft by making a small stinger from the same black paper you used to make the bee's head and glue it onto the bee.

Add googly eyes and use a red pen to add a smile and a black marker to draw the bee's antennae.
