- cotton balls or white pom poms
- scissors
- glue
- crayons, coloured pencils or markers (optional)
How to make a snowman with cotton balls
STEP 1: Get your cotton ball snowman template
Before beginning this snowman craft you will need to print off the cotton ball snowman template. There are 3 different versions to choose from and each of these versions are available in black and white for you to colour or pre coloured.
There is a snowman Christmas countdown, Christmas snowman craft, and winter snowman craft for you to choose from. Each snowman template has space for 24 cotton balls. The Christmas countdown has the numbers added to the circles, but the other versions have the circles left blank.
STEP 2: Colour your cotton ball snowman template
If you have chosen the black and white version of the cotton ball snowman template take a little time to colour your snowman hat, scarf, facial features and arms. You could use crayons, coloured pencils, markers or even watercolour paint.
STEP 3: Cut out and glue your snowman
Cut around the dotted lines on the snowman template and glue on the snowman's hat and arms.
STEP 4: Add cotton balls to the snowman
Now it is time to complete your snowman craft by gluing cotton balls or white pom poms to each of the circles on the snowman's body. If you have chosen the snowman Christmas countdown version don't glue all the cotton balls onto your snowman at once, add one cotton ball or white pom pom each day, and on Christmas Eve your snowman will be complete.
