We are fast approaching winter, and the colder weather can make entertaining active kids indoors a little more challenging than usual.
Don't fret, though! Winter crafts work like magic at keeping the kids entertained. That's why this cute Marshmallow Snowman is the perfect winter craft to make with your kids.
The best part is that you probably have the materials needed lying around your home, so no need for expensive supplies. You just need a couple of coloured markers, some small cellophane bags , pompoms, and (of course) marshmallows!

Marshmallow Snowman Craft

Marshmallow Snowman - Supplies:
- Marshmallows
- Clear cellophane bags
- Black paper
- Black permanent marker
- Black and orange pipe cleaner
- Scissors
- Silk ribbon
- Red and Green pompoms
Marshmallow Snowman - Instructions:
STEP 1 - Prepare your marshmallows:
Add four marshmallows to your cellophane bag, stacking them one on top of another. Fold any excess cellophane bag behind the stack of marshmallows and tie the open end of the bag with a piece of ribbon.
STEP 2 - Draw the snowmen's features:
Gut a small piece of orange pipe cleaner and glue it on as a nose!
STEP 3 - Make your snowmans hat:
Draw a hat shape on your black paper and cut the shape out. Then decorate the hat with ribbon and small pom poms.
Once you've decorated your hat, glue it onto the snowman's head.
STEP 4 - Add a scarf and the snowman's arms:
To make the snowman's scarf cut a small ribbon piece and wrap it around your snowman's neck.
Then as a last step give your snowman some arms to bring him to life! Take your piece of black pipe cleaner, cut it to size and then glue it to the back of your marshmallow snowman.
We can't get over how adorable this little marshmallow snowman is! It was such an easy-peasy craft to make, but so much fun. It makes the perfect gift too!
