Shamrock Paper Wreath Craft
Supplies needed for your shamrock paper wreath craft
- Shamrock template
- Cardstock
- Coloured craft papers - various shades of green
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Glue
Directions to make your shamrock paper wreath craft
STEP 1: Gather your supplies
Before we get started, gather up all your supplies. Don't forget to download and print your shamrock template! You can download it for free by scrolling down below.
STEP 2: Prepare the shamrock paper wreath
To get started, get your cardstock and then trace and cut out the shamrock wreath pattern. It would be a good idea to have this prepared ahead of time if doing this craft with young children.
Once you've done that, cut the coloured craft papers into small 1-inch x 1-inch squares.
Then, crumple up the papers into small balls, as shown below. This is a great chance to get toddlers and preschoolers involved - they will LOVE crumpling all the paper!
STEP 3: Assemble the shamrock paper wreath
Once you've done that, start gluing the crumbled papers to the base of your shamrock paper wreath. Encourage your toddlers and preschoolers to fill the shamrock shape.
STEP 4: Finalize the shamrock paper wreath
Once you've filled the entire wreath with crumpled papers, attach a hanging mechanism to the back side. You're now ready to display your shamrock paper wreath!
