Blowfish Craft - a fun fish paper craft with template

How to make a paper blowfish craft

STEP 1: Gather up all your supplies

To get started, gather up all your supplies for your paper fish craft! This blowfish craft is much easier if you gather up everything you need first so you're not running around looking for your supplies. If you haven't grabbed the template yet, you can find that by scrolling down below.

STEP 2: Prepare your template

Once you have your supplies, prepare the template by printing onto your coloured papers. You'll want to print the blowfish body onto dark brown paper, the scales/fins onto tan paper, and then the eyes on white paper.

After you print them out, cut them out.

STEP 3: Assemble blowfish

After your pieces are cut out, you're ready to put your blowfish together! Start by gluing the stomach piece at the bottom of the blowfish. Then, glue the fins and scales as shown below.

If desired, cut out and colour some bubbles for your blowfish.

STEP 4: Paint background

Next, paint a blue background for the ocean. Grab a white piece of paper and paint different shades of blue using liquid watercolours. Set aside and allow time to dry before finishing up the paper fish craft.

STEP 5: Finalise craft

You're almost done! Now it's time to glue everything together. Glue your blowfish and bubbles on the blue background as shown below. Your blowfish is now complete!
