One thing I love about this color changing slime recipe is how easy it is to make! This slime for kids will take minutes to put together without needing loads of different supplies and ingredients. You can make this easy slime using only TWO ingredients and the best and most fun part is that it changes color in sunlight!

Slime Safety Notice - Adult supervision is required. Thoroughly wash your hands before and after making and playing with slime. Do not substitute any ingredients in our slime recipes.
STEP 1: Gather your slime ingredients
Before you get started, grab both of your ingredients. Also be sure to grab a small bowl and airtight container.
STEP 2: Mix ingredients
To get started, empty the bottle of Elmer's color changing glue into a small bowl.
Then, measure 1/4 cup of Elmer's magical liquid slime activator and pour into the bowl.
PS: Alternatively, you can use contact solution and baking soda as done in our fall slime recipe. (Just be sure to use the color changing glue!)
Mix well or until clumpy and use your hands to knead together until the mixture becomes the consistency of slime. If it's too sticky, add a tablespoon more of magical liquid and continue kneading.
STEP 3: Activate the colors
Now for the fun part! Bring the slime outside into the sun and watch the color of the slime change! In our case, it will change from yellow to orange to red. You'll see different colours depending on the glue you've opted to use.
