Conker Spider Craft

Conker spiders - Supplies:

  • Conkers
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • A skewer or small screwdriver to make a hole in the conkers.

How to make conker spiders

The first thing you will need to do is make a hole in each conker using a skewer or small screwdriver.

To make the spider's legs thread 4 pipe cleaners through the hole and then bend them into shape. We found that the first couple of pipe cleaners were easy to thread but then it got a little bit harder. Try to make sure the legs are of a similar size.

Add some googly eyes and draw on a little smile to complete your spiders.

We made a spider web for our spiders by dribbling glue onto some black paper and then sprinkling it with glitter.

I think our conker spiders look really cute and the kids have loved playing with them. How many of these spider crafts do you think you will make?
