Fingerprint counting is such a fun way of learning to count. Print out our FREE PRINTABLE spiders webs and add fingerprint spiders to each web. We have two versions of the printable, one with numbers 1-9 and one blank for you to add your own numbers.
Take a look at all our Spider crafts and activities.
Today we join the virtual book club with the book "The Very Busy Spider' by Eric Carle. We took the theme of spiders and did some counting using our fingerprints on these printable spiders webs. (find out more about the virtual book club here)
You will need:
- Click here for your copy of our spiders web printable
- Black paint
- A pen if you want to add numbers / legs to your spiders
Simply dip your finger into paint and add the correct number of spiders to each of the spiders webs.
Once the paint has dried you might want to add spiders legs to your spiders.
A fun alternative could be to count the correct number of plastic spiders or spider stickers to each spiders web.
