Bottle Cap Crafts for Kids

Who knew that bottle caps could be used for so many different crafts! Are you the kind of person that just can't throw anything away? Well here is a section of my favourite bottle cap crafts for kids. I have included craft ideas that use both metal and plastic bottle caps and some of these ideas are easy enough for toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy. I love that some of these bottle cap crafts can be played with, whilst other make beautiful decorations. 

If you love upcycled crafts you might enjoy making a egg carton pond, wooden spoon puppets or paper cup pom pom shooters. 

Bottle Cap Toy Crafts

Use bottle caps and polymer clay to make miniature pies. These are perfect for imaginative play. 

Kids will love playing with a dump truck softie with bottle cap wheels.

Toddlers and preschoolers can make simple bird puppets to play with.

Make a rattlesnake toy that actually rattles! I totally love crafts that double up as toys. 

Enjoy some water play and have a race with some bottle cap boats.

Treasure magnets would look adorable holding up a child's drawing on the fridge.

If you have a huge collection of bottle caps try making a giant picture from bottle caps. I love this lizard, flowers, snail and  fish.

Delicate snowflakes would look stunning hanging from a Christmas tree, branch or door handle.
