Superhero Bookmark Craft

Superhero Bookmark Craft - Supplies:

• Coloured craft paper
• Popsicle sticks
• Pencil
• Black sharpie or marker
• Scissors
• Craft glue

Superhero Craft - Instructions:

STEP 1: Print superhero template.

Get ready by printing out your superhero template onto white paper or card and then cut out the templates for each character! 

STEP 2: Trace superhero template onto coloured paper.

Starting with our Captain America bookmark first, trace the pattern of this superhero onto your chosen coloured paper and cut the pieces out with scissors.

STEP 3: Put the shield together.

Cut out the 4 circles and the shield 's small star from the template and glue them in the right order.

STEP 4: Create your superhero mask.

Take the mask base (the "A" pattern) and 2 wings patterns from the template to make your Captain America mask. Using glue, put the pieces together.

Put the mask on the top side of your Captain America's head pattern and attach it with a drop of glue.

STEP 5: Start putting your superhero craft together.

Once the previous step is complete, take your head and glue it to one end of the body base. Add the strip cut out as the belt in the centre of your superhero's body.

STEP 6: Glue to popsicle stick to create bookmark

Taking your popsicle stick, add a drop of glue on it and glue your Captain America craft onto it. Your Captain America bookmark is now complete. 

Follow the same steps with the rest of the Avengers characters from the template. You can make Captain America, Iron man and Hulk. 

I'm sure this bookmark craft will make your little ones super excited to read and go on super adventures. Kids will love using these bookmarks to keep track of their reading and also sneak in a bit of playtime. As well as being used as bookmarks they make good superhero puppets.
