Handprint Nativity Crafts

We are huge fans of handprint and footprint crafts so to begin with we are sharing 3 very cute crafts that can also double up as keepsakes.

Footprint Manger Tiles from Fun Handprint Art
This adorable footprint manger has a thumbprint baby Jesus lying in it and there is a poem to go alongside it.

Inspired by a bible passage this adorable footprint and handprint Nativity scene makes a great craft and keepsake for babies and toddlers.

Handprint Angels from Kids Craft Room (not pictured)
Use handprints to make the wings on an angel and then hang it on the tree for all to see.

Handprint Nativity Craft from Meaningful Mama
Create a whole nativity scene from a handprint (plus a few extra colouring pictures for the animals)

Cute Nativity Crafts

Lighted Nativity Ornament from I can teach my child
Make a silhouette of a nativity scene and light it up using a battery powered tea light. This craft looks so effective once lit up!

Paper plate manger Craft from here on The Chaos and The Clutter
This cute paper plate craft is simple enough for toddler and preschoolers to create.

Toilet roll angel from Red Ted Art
So much detail has been added to this cute angel, I love the detail on the angels wings!

Angel Christmas Ornament Keepsake from The Keeper of the Cheerios (not pictured)
I fell in love with this angel made from craft sticks the moment I saw it. It doubles up as such a cute keepsake too!

DIY Nativity Scenes

Crafts and activities that can be played with are always popular. These 3D nativity scenes would be great for retelling the nativity story.

Toilet Roll Nativity Set from Happy Hooligans
These adorable toilet roll characters could be made over several days to gradually build up the nativity scene.

Toilet Roll Nativity – The Camel (and kings) from Red Ted Art
I have fallen in love with this cute camel with real sticks for legs. It would be fun to make the three kings to go along side it.

Matchbox Manger Craft from The Craft Train (not pictured)
Snuggled up in a match box manger, this is one of the cutest baby Jesus crafts that I have seen.

DIY Wooden Peg Doll Holy Family Nativity Scene from Rhythms of Play
Wooden peg dolls are great for small world play. These peg dolls look simple to make but would provide hours of play.

Homemade Peg Doll Nativity Set from The OT Toolbox (not pictured)
If you don't have any peg dolls you could always make your own DIY version from pegs and fabric.

Nativity small world play from The Imagination Tree
Make a stable using a box and fill it with blocks and figures to create a nativity scene the kids can play with.

Hopefully you have found a nativity Christmas craft idea to try within the list. We love them all!
