Make your own Christmas Crackers
Homemade Christmas crackers - Supplies:
- Christmas crackers template
- Coloured pencils or markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Ribbon
DIY Christmas crackers - Directions:
STEP 1: Print your Christmas cracker templates.
First things first, you will need to scroll down to get your copy of the Christmas cracker templates. (Use code - cracker - to get the cracker templates for free)
Print the Christmas cracker templates out onto white paper of thin white cardstock.
There are 6 designs to choose from as well as a blank Christmas cracker template for you to design your own. You can make them all or choose your favourite, the choice is yours!
STEP 2: Colour your Christmas cracker templates
Now it is time to add a little colour to your homemade crackers. Grab a selection of coloured pencils or markers and get creative!
STEP 3: Make your own Christmas crackers
Now it is time to cut out your Christmas cracker templates, you will need to cut along the solid lines on the template.
Once you have cut out your Christmas crackers fold along the dotted lines until your Christmas cracker starts to take shape. Then glue the Christmas cracker into place using the tabs on the template.
Wait for the glue to dry and then close the crackers by tying a piece of ribbon around both ends. Before tying the ends up you might want to add a little treat inside the cracker. This could be an edible treat like a small sweet or chocolate, a funny joke to cracker a few smiles, a little gift or anything else you fancy!
