Bat Craft - Supplies:


  • Bottle Caps.
  • Craft Papers.
  • Pencil.
  • Ruler.
  • Scissors.
  • Googly eyes.
  • Glue.
  • Printable (available at the bottom of the directions or alternatively draw your shapes freehand)

Bat Bottle Cap Craft - Instructions:



STEP 1: Get the printable template.


Download and print out our free template (grab it below!) and use it to make the frame with your black craft paper.

STEP 2: Trace and cut out.


In the template, you'll see a rectangular shape. Cut it out and trace it in grey craft paper.

Then cut out the moon on white craft paper using the template. Glue the moon on one corner of the rectangular craft paper as shown below.

STEP 3: Glue the frame.


Now you need to glue the black frame on top of the grey rectangular shape.

STEP 4: Create your bottle cap bat.


Use glue to attach the bottle cap to the background and add the googly eyes on top of the cap

STEP 5: Add your bat's wings and ears.


Go back to the template, and this time cut out the shape of the bat's wings and ears. Use the templates to draw on your bat's wings and ears (or alternatively draw them on freehand).

Colour the bat wings and ears using a black marker.

STEP 6: Final touches!


Use your black marker to add any final touches you wish to your bat craft. Why not draw some tiny bats around the moon using an extra-fine tip marker.
