You won't believe how easy it is to put together! Kids will love the process -is simple and quick- and you'll love it too because this time around, there's no paint involved. A completely messy-free craft!
The stripy pattern looks amazing, and it creates such a cool visual effect thanks to the heart shape! You can organise the paper straws horizontally or vertically, whichever way you (and the little ones) like better.
We chose to go with red and white paper straws to keep up with Valentine's Day colours, but any colour will do, especially a pinkish hue!

Hanging Heart Craft (with heart template)
Heart Craft - Supplies:
- Heart Template
- Straws
- Ribbon
- Tape
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Hanging Heart Craft - Instructions:
STEP 1: Gather your supplies.
First, scroll down below and get our heart printable template and print it out. Then prepare all the materials we'll be using for this craft.
STEP 2: Prepare the paper straws.
Now, take the paper straws. Using a rolling pin, flatten them against a hard surface.
STEP 3: Put together your design
Once all the paper straws are neatly flatted, it's to add them to your heart template. Start by trimming them using scissors and fill the template's heart shape.
Remember to let the glue dry before moving on to the last step.
STEP 4: Final touches.
You've almost finished your hanging heart craft! Cutaway any excess around the edges of the heart, if there are any. Then attach a ribbon to the back of the heart with tape or glue
and.... you're Valentine's Day heart craft is ready!
You can hang this heart craft around the house as an ornament or give it away as a lovely and thoughtful gift to loved ones.
