Christmas Science Baking Soda Experiment - Directions:

STEP 1: Set up your workstation.

Prepare the surface you'll be working on! I would suggest doing this Christmas science experiment in a small tray to contain the mess.  I would also recommend adding the baking soda and vinegar to small cups so it is easy for kids to access during the science experiment.

STEP 2: Add the baking soda.

Once everything is set up, take the baking soda and add it into the Christmas cookie cutter, making sure not to overfill it. With a spoon, even out the baking soda.

STEP 3: Magic-time!

Now it is time for the fun part! Fill the dropper with vinegar, squirt it onto the baking soda Christmas tree and watch the chemical reaction. As the vinegar and baking soda come into contact they will react and you will have a fizzing Christmas tree! Watch the sequins move as the tree fizzes.
