Paper Plate Koala Craft

Paper Plate Koala Craft Supplies:

• Paper plate.
• Colourful craft paper. 
• Scissors.
• Glue 
• Marker pens. 

How to make your Koala Craft

Step 1: Print out our Koala template

Before you being making your koala craft you will need to print out our free koala template. This can be found by scrolling down to the bottom of the page. Once printed cut out your template and trace the pieces onto coloured paper.

Step 2: Make your koala bear

You are now ready to start making the koala bear craft. Take the pink inner earpieces and glue them inside the ears. Then, grab both paws and glue them to the koala bear's feet. Continue by gluing both eyes on the koala's face. 

Alternative suggestion: You could use googly eyes instead of paper eyes for your koala bear

Now give your koala a 3D effect by gluing the arms on the shoulders.

You may decide to make one koala or a family or koala bears. If you want to make koala bears in various sizes you will need to change the size of the template using your printer settings.

Paper plate process:

Step 1: Print out the grass and sky templates

Grab the printed templates and draw around them on coloured paper. Cut out the grass and sky.

Step 2: Cut them

This part is super easy! Just glue the pieces of coloured paper you've cut out inside the paper plate.

Tree Process:

Step 1: Print out the tree and leaves template

Print and cut out the tree template and then draw around them on coloured paper. Cut out all the pieces.

Step 2: Create your tree

Next, grab the green pieces (leaves) and glue them to the trunk. This is your tree done! Make as many trees as your would like to have on your paper plate craft.

Final Step: Put your paper plate koala craft together!

The final step! Once all the above steps are done, you just need to arrange the trees and the koala bears inside the paper plate and you have just finished this cute paper plate Koala craft project! How fun!
