Easy Bunny Rabbit Art

What a perfect Easter or Spring craft project! Kids will love making bunny art using our free bunny rabbit printable. Decorate the paper bunnies by putting them in a container and rolling paint covered water beads across them.  This fun painting idea is easy enough for toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy and can even be mess free if you add a lid. Have fun!

Spring is such a beautiful time of the year and perfect for crafting as there are so many Spring themed projects to try.  Whether it is flowers, butterflies, bunnies or rainbows that interest your little one, there is something for everyone. If your toddler or preschooler enjoys making this bunny art they may also enjoy painting with nature paintbrushes or making coffee filter butterflies.

Bunny art it perfect for this time of year as we think about Easter and start to get outside more. Add the words 'Hoppy Easter' to the bunny art and it would make a great Easter card, or add the words 'some bunny loves you' and it would be perfect for Valentine's day or Mother's day.

You will need:


  • Bunny picture (scroll down for free bunny printable)
  • Small container
  • Paint (we also used silver glitter glue)
  • Small balls (water beads or marbles are perfect)
  • Pom pom

Easy Bunny Art


Print out the bunny images (scroll down for free bunny printable) and cut them out. Place the bunny image into a small container. Squirt paint in your chosen colours into the container. Tip in a few marbles or water beads. Shake the container backwards and forwards.

As you shake the container backwards and forwards the paint will be spread across the bunny image creating a marbled effect. Add more paint if needed.

Take the bunny out of the container and leave it to dry. Complete your bunny by gluing a pom pom on as a tail.
