Easy Cheerios Bird Feeders

You will need:



  • Pipe cleaner
  • Cheerios


Cheerio Bird Feeders


Make a small loop at one end of the pipe cleaner. Then have fun threading cheerios onto the pipe cleaner, try not to eat too many as you go!!!

Once the pipe cleaner is full of cheerios twist the two ends of the pipe cleaner together and bend the bird feeder into any shape you choose.  We went with a heart shape. Older children might like to experiment with twisting more than one pipe cleaner together to see what they can create.

Go outside and find the perfect place to hang your bird feeder and then wait for the birds to enjoy their tasty treat.
