How to make fingerprint ladybird magnets



Start by making a batch of salt dough. Divide the salt dough into several small balls and press down on them to create a ladybird shape. Bake in the oven at a low temperature for several hours.

Once cooled paint the salt dough red.  Wait for the red paint to dry and then draw a black line down the middle.  Paint one end of the ladybird black. Dip your child's fingers into black paint and add some spots onto the ladybird.

Once the paint has dried glue on some googly eyes on the front and a magnet to the back.
