These colourful spin art flowers would make a perfect Spring or Mothers Day craft for kids. The addition of a photograph and the message 'If mothers were flowers I'd pick you' makes it extra special. We made daffodils but change the colours and you could make any flower of your choice.
You will need: (affiliate links)
- A salad spinner (US link / UK link)
- Circles of yellow card
- Yellow and gold poster paint (the gold we used was acrylic as that was the only gold paint we had)
- Gold Glitter
- Lollipop sticks
- Green card for the leaves
Put your circles of yellow card into the salad spinner. Squirt in some gold and yellow paint. Add a sprinkling of glitter
Put the lid onto the salad spinner and spin it as fast as you can. This is the bit Harry loves!
Take out your artwork and leave it to dry.
Cut the circles into flower shapes. Add a lollipop stick as a stem and cut a leaf shape from the green card.
Personalise the flowers by adding a photograph to the centre of the flower and write a message on the leaf.
Don't you think they look adorable?
